The Department of Homeland Security is reportedly pausing the Disinformation Governance Board three weeks after its creation was challenged by Republicans.
The Washington Post’s Taylor Lorenz reports that the DHS decided to shut down the board on Monday and that its leader Nina Jankowicz had drafted a resignation letter in response to their decision. [Breitbart]
Whatever the motives for this action–and I am certain they are nefarious–I will take the result.
It shows how a boisterous pushback against brazen, unprecedented tyranny in America can have an impact. We have to go further. Until these lawless tyrants (Biden included) are removed from power and appropriately punished for even suggesting such a thing as a Ministry of Disinformation, we are not safe. We are not safe until the dictators are really, really afraid of the millions of us who detest them.
