The Justice Department on Tuesday said it was curtailing the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies from using chokeholds to restrain suspects or executing no-knock warrants at peoples’ homes before entering.
What’s this? A libertarian streak under Biden and the DemComs, all of a sudden? It’s about as libertarian as Stalin.
“Building trust and confidence between law enforcement and the public we serve is central to our mission at the Justice Department,” Attorney General Merrick Garland said.
“The limitations implemented today on the use of ‘chokeholds,’ ‘carotid restraints’ and ‘no-knock’ warrants, combined with our recent expansion of body-worn cameras to DOJ’s federal agents, are among the important steps the department is taking to improve law enforcement safety and accountability.” [NEWSMAX]
If you think for one second that the Biden regime is concerned about the rights or due process of ACTUAL PEACEFUL, LAW-ABIDING PEOPLE then you’re too gullible for these times. Innocent until proven guilty is NOT how these modern-day savages handle anyone who is not a far-left, unblinkingly woke and obedient citizen. To whatever degree this announcement means anything, it’s to do the same thing that woke governors are already doing across the country: opening up the door and letting out violent criminals, not to mention ensuring that people can be indiscriminately crossed over the border.
Leftists seek to make life easier for criminals — real criminals — so they can free up their energy to punish dissenters and the noncompliant with their totalitarian statism.
If you were China, Iran, the Taliban/ISIS or Russia trying to bring down the United States through its own government, you would do absolutely everything the Biden regime is already doing for them.
