The David Horowitz Freedom Center has had their donation processing system blocked by Visa and Mastercard allegedly following a campaign by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Visa has since contacted Breitbart News to deny involvement in the blacklisting of the Freedom Center.
The David Horowitz Freedom Center stated in a recent email that its ability to accept donations by credit card has been disabled by both Visa and Mastercard following a campaign by the SPLC to label the Freedom Center as a hate group. This situation comes shortly after Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch was forced off the funding platform Patreon following pressure from Mastercard.

Totalitarians, whether in National Socialist (Nazi) Germany, or Soviet Russia, have always understood the power of psychology. Both Nazis and Communists used the government-run mental health and psychiatric system to label enemies of the government state-decreed whack jobs. Because, after all, who but a psychotic could disagree with the government, right?
More than that, totalitarians understand the value of instilling fear in the hearts and minds of the people. Think of the American Revolution and the reverence for individual rights it gave rise to – and then think the polar opposite. That’s the totalitarian spirit of these moral runts at the Southern Poverty Law Center who are pressuring Visa and MasterCard to stop doing business with anyone to the right of – well, the Southern Poverty Law Center. In other words: If you disagree with them politically, you are to be silenced by any means necessary.
Don’t be fooled or distracted by the fact they’re going through the private marketplace to silence people. Their goal is to silence opposition, by any means necessary. They think that by pressuring or intimidating companies like Visa and MasterCard to do their bidding, they will attain that lack of dissension without firing a shot. Perhaps they’re right, but when you consider that most of us to the right of center are well armed, both literally and intellectually, I have a feeling it’s not going to play out that way.
The crucial thing to understand, especially if you’re in the unsure or uncommitted middle, is that the people in our establishment are neither “liberal” nor “moderate”. As I said: They mean to silence opposition, by any means necessary. The same applies to those at gigantic social media companies like Facebook and Twitter. The only reason we have not seen a total silencing with these companies is the desire for profit and survival. Is it any wonder that those on the left who seek to silence any kind of dissenting opinion are so against free markets and capitalism? They understand that so long as the profit-motive exists, there will be moderation and diversity in the sense of tolerating different points of view.
And those are the things your leftists at MSNBC, CNN and elsewhere are not prepared to tolerate. Watch their actions. They mean what they say, and they mean what they’re doing. Their goal is to create an atmosphere of defeat and hopelessness in those who disagree with them. If they succeed, the way is clear to take over the country and, yes, that includes the country’s government. But they understand that in order to take over the government, they must first silence their opposition into submission – psychologically, not politically.
The rest will follow. Unless we stop them with superior force – intellectual, psychological and physical (if it comes to that). These are truly bad guys, even evil. They know what they’re doing, and until we learn to view and treat them as such, we’re going to lose the remaining liberty and freedom we have.
