It’s interesting how few Republicans mean what they promise; and how many leftists absolutely mean what they say. Republicans promise to lower taxes and regulations, and almost always leave office with government bigger than they found it. Democrats always leave office with government bigger and more tyrannical than they found it. Are leftists more honorable than so-called advocates of the Constitution, private property and individual rights? No. Savages, plunderers and despots are not honorable at all. But the people pretending to be your friends and promising to protect you from the despots — most career Republicans — are not your friends. Notice how they detest Donald Trump.
What to do? Trump and MAGA are great first steps. Now we have a lot of reading and thinking to do. I highly recommend Ayn Rand, economists Ludwig von Mises and Henry Hazlitt, and also Thomas Paine, Frederic Bastiat, Thomas Jefferson, Rose Wilder Lane, and Ben Franklin. Remember: The socialists and Communists win only by default. The alternative is simply freedom. A principled and unwavering defense of America means a principled and unwavering defense of economic and personal freedom. It’s as simple as that — and always was.

My reply: Actually, he has. He has cut the executive branch significantly. Sadly, those cuts will not be permanent because most Republicans in control of Congress will not shut them down. Trump has cut regulations which, sadly, the next Democratic or RINO president will reinstall. But Trump stopped monsters such as Hillary Clinton and Communist Kamala Harris from seizing power. He hasn’t done nearly all that he might, I agree, but he has done so, so much more than any other Republican or conservative in my lifetime. And he has taken bullets for this country.
