It’s ironic that George Orwell was a socialist. Everything he wrote about has come true under American socialism. Would he change his mind and become an advocate of state-economics separation if he were alive today? One thing is certain: Today’s leftist Democrats will never budge on their positions. Leftists are hopelessly embedded in the intellectual fecal matter of their own errors, and (like insane people) seem oddly gleeful about it. Objective reality is their only real adversary — and if you bring reality onto their radar, it’s ostracization, prison or death to you.
Precisely as Orwell, the socialist, predicted all those years ago.
