President Trump did not “divide” America. America became divided by choice. Millions chose tyranny over freedom; millions of others chose freedom over tyranny. It’s as simple as that.
When the people of a nation become divided on the issue of freedom versus tyranny, you get divisive results.

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher said that when you dehumanize someone, it does get used to justify violence, and the shooter at Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Association dinner wasn’t insane to the point of delusion, but was listening to both social media “and media media.”
Maher said, “Once you start with Hitler, it’s like, any time you do — we’ve seen it in many places in the world where they make someone into, whether it’s Rwanda or the Hutus saying the Tutsi were vermin or the Hutu — somebody was vermin I remember…whenever you dehumanize someone to that degree, people are going to go, oh, I’m doing the — I’m a hero. This guy wasn’t crazy crazy, like, he wasn’t hearing — the dog wasn’t talking to him and the moon. He just was, like, watching the –.”
Kings College, Cambridge Provost and Financial Times columnist Gillian Tett then cut in to say, “Social media.”
Maher responded, “Yeah, and media media.”
Absolutely correct. I can’t find much distinction between the most recent Trump shooter and the average Democrat. The only difference is that he was willing to try what they all want to do — and they would most assuredly be applauding had he succeeded.
My fellow Americans: Millions of your fellow Americans are not good people. Face it.

Rep. Jim Clyburn is a racial supremacist Democrat who benefits from the now illegally gerrymandered district in South Carolina, District 6. Despite the fact that South Carolina is as red a state as Florida (if not more so), the Republican governor of South Carolina and the solidly Republican state legislature are afraid of Clyburn (who has held his seat for decades) and consequently will not redistrict as other Southern states like Florida, Louisiana and Alabama are speedily doing.
Hopefully South Carolina’s probable next governor, Nancy Mace, will take the lead on eliminating District 6 and this nasty old fossil’s unending career as a parasite when she takes over. But it will be too late for the 2026 election, unfortunately, and Republicans could have used this seat.
