The Psychology and Politics of Ideological Conformity

During the Maoist era in China (1949–1976), reporting on neighbors, colleagues, and family members was a foundational element of social control, aimed at eliminating “class enemies” and enforcing ideological conformity. This system encouraged individuals to prioritize loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) over personal relationships, resulting in widespread surveillance at the local level.

I see Democrats going in this direction. They will use Trump as an excuse for “never again.” It will be problematic for them in parts of the country, but if they ever get a hold of the federal infrastructure and/or Congress again, watch for more overt and institutionalized ideological control. They’re setting the table for it now. We had a partial realization of this during the COVID fascism era, when citizens were told to take photos and report on fellow citizens who refused to mask or vax, or who chose to have parties in their homes; but Democrats are totalitarians and this is what they want across the board. They have already done it with schools, corporations, and the sports and entertainment industries. They enforce ideological conformity already via shame, scolding and economic punishment. Your average Democrats would have no problem with any of this. Mark my words.

You cannot reason with totalitarians. The only solution with Democrats in power will be to lock them up and legally prevent them from holding power again. We didn’t allow Nazis to run for office and violate the rights of Jews. We didn’t let Communists openly run for office in order to ensure the Soviets and Maoists took us down. Today’s Democrats openly cheer killing the President and openly side with Iran in its quest to incinerate Israel and eventually the rest of the world. How can we let such a grotesque and obviously evil movement as today’s Democratic Party hold ANY power? I don’t care about the people who wish to vote for them. You don’t get to vote away other people’s rights. To hear the Democrats talk these days, they believe they aren’t restrained by rule of law. Their attitude and implicit premise appears to be, “Trump, and anyone who supported him, will be punished.” By guns today, or by votes in a year or two. That sounds like a declaration of war on all who don’t want what they want. It sounds like dictatorship. They’re warning us.
