I agree with the principle underlying the SAVE act and agree that politicians who oppose or wobble on it should be held accountable. At the same time, I know that even if it passed, it will not be followed in Democratic run cities and states. We are at the point where Democrats consider their ideas and policies the law of the land. They consider Trump an invalid President and Republican-passed laws just as invalid, morally and legally.
Democrats now speak, act and think as if all of America is a one-Party state with only one set of laws — anything that gives them more power and money. The Democratic Party is lawless and ruthless, beyond redemption or repair. Much of the established Republican Party (Mitch McConnell, Thune, seriously?) is little better, in all honesty. The biggest war is not in Iran right now. The biggest war is the one brewing in America–between the people with an inalienable right to freedom, and the government with an increasingly vested interest in obliterating it.
