Tensions in Los Angeles escalated Sunday as thousands of protesters took to the streets in response to President Donald Trump’s deployment of the National Guard, blocking off a major freeway and setting self-driving cars on fire as law enforcement used tear gas, rubber bullets, and flash bangs to control the crowd.
Many protesters dispersed as evening fell and police declared an unlawful assembly, a precursor to officers moving in and making arrests of people who don’t leave. Some of those remaining threw objects at police from behind a makeshift barrier that spanned the width of a street and others hurled chunks of concrete, rocks, electric scooters, and fireworks at California Highway Patrol officers and their vehicles parked on the closed southbound 101 Freeway. Trans actor and activist Laverne Cox was Grand Marshall on Saturday at the World Pride Parade that flooded the streets of Washington, DC.
Reuters reports the massed parade route passed within one block of the White House grounds in one of the final main events of the weeks-long World Pride gathering, as participants waved rainbow flags and danced. [Breitbart 6-8-25]
Civil Rights activists opposing state-enforced segregation in the 1960s were quiet, strong and dignified. It’s because they knew they were right.
“Trans” activists in the 2020s are vulgar, violent and threatening. It’s because they know they’re irrational, contradictory and tyrannical. They know they’re wrong, and their screaming is a way to scare objective facts away.

If Elon Musk starts giving money to Democrats, it will prove that he never meant his support for DOGE. You don’t walk away from Trump for being not capitalist and libertarian enough and support open Communists. That’s impossible. It would be like Hitler leaving the Nazi Party for becoming soft on anti-Semitism, and throwing his support behind Israel. Or like George Washington getting mad that the American revolutionaries were becoming too wobbly about Britain and storming off to join the Royal Navy. It would be beyond contradictory, and even beyond insane, for Musk to suddenly become a totalitarian Communist after years and billions spent on DOGE and purchasing Twitter.
What haunts me is that Musk always supported Democrats before 2024, including Joe Biden in 2020. Mistakes of that magnitude are never innocent. The Democratic Party had already radicalized to full Stalinesque by 2020. I know literally everyone thinks Trump’s and Musk’s fued is a p.r. stunt. I disagree. I believe something is terribly wrong with Musk. We will eventually know the truth.
