Why I’m Not as Excited over the Vance-Walz Debate as You Probably Are

Historically, the VP candidates don’t matter. Only the presidential candidates do. In a presidential race, J.D. Vance might crush Tim Walz. But they’re not the presidential candidates.

History probably doesn’t matter, though. That’s because this election is most likely rigged, at least as much as the 2020 election. Mail-in voting allows for subjectivity and last minute “counts” (oh look — we just found 5,000 mail-in ballots and they’re all for Kamala!) You know it will happen again, because we watched it happen last time. It only needs to happen in a couple of swing states, and all these swing states are run completely by Democrats. And the victims of fraud — the people who called them on it — are the ones being censored or even imprisoned.

This isn’t the America you think it is. Wake up!

I was interested in the debate last night, but only to a point. I can’t ignore the evidence I described just above. Reality is there, staring you in the face. It might be comfortable to pretend that this is a horse race and Trump might somehow pull it off. And, indeed, he might. He did in 2016, and he could again. But if he does, the calamity that follows will be bad. Trump’s entire term was the building of a calamity that culminated in the events of 2020, and everything since then.

Don’t misunderstand. I’m not saying I don’t want Trump to win. A victory by him will be an important moral and psychological victory. But all hell will break loose — beyond what has already happened in America, which is considerable, if you haven’t noticed.

It’s not a matter of being negative or positive. It’s a matter of being TRUTHFUL. I’m very optimistic about the ability of good to triumph over evil. Good is smart. Virtue is stronger than vice. Evil is petty, ridiculous and stupid. Virtue is Thomas Jefferson; evil is Kamala. The only reason evil has gained so much ground — in America, of all places — is that too many good people are afraid. Not cowardly, so much as just afraid. Afraid of what? Of losing what they have.

But here’s the thing: We no longer really have it. That’s the meaning of fight, fight, fight. We must fight to get it back — and punish those who took it away from us. It will take more than an election, no matter who “wins.”
