RINOs are The Lowest of the Low

Here’s the interesting thing about “Never Trumpers.” They ONLY talk about Trump’s personality; they never reference his policies. They say he’s dangerous and threatening to the Constitution, to individual rights, to “democracy,” and to the American way of life. But they never offer any proof. They don’t even offer evidence.

It’s all circular. “It’s Trump. He’s a monster.” How do we know he’s a monster? What evidence supports this theory? Why, it’s self-evident. HE’S MEAN.

You expect this from Democrats. But Trump, in action, does the things these Republicans who claim to hate him also claim they always wanted. I’m talking about people like John Bolton. And Chris Christie. And Nikki Haley. And Even Ron DeSantis. These are all people who claim to want what Trump offered. In DeSantis’ case, as governor, he actually enacted many of those things. (Nikki Haley is a phony; she did not enact the things as governor that she says she wants now.)

Circular reasoning is irrational. Circular reasoning is when you say you want the things Trump actually did, and will do more of if elected to a second term, but you don’t want Trump. And you can give no reason other than, “Well, look at him. He’s Trump.”

Trump is not a radical. (I wish he were — a radical for the Bill of Rights and the original American Constitution, that is). Trump’s a Republican with the exact same platform as Mitt Romney and John McCain when they ran for President. The difference is that they never meant a word of it; Trump did. They made zero progress in accomplishing their claimed goals; Trump made lots of progress.

You can say what you want about Trump. But you don’t get to pretend it’s objective, honest and logically/internally consistent when it isn’t. You can’t have your Republican goals and eat them too. You can’t say, “I want a secure border, I want lower taxes, I want military strength in defense of America, I’m against wokeness and green fascism,” and then turn around and call Trump a dictator when he does all the things you SAY you want.

Of course Democrats will call Trump a dictator. They consider anything where they’re not allowed to exercise totalitarian control over others a dictatorship. “If you prevent me from being a dictator, then you’re a dictator.” But RINOs can offer no logical consistency. They are the lowest of the low.
