We’re essentially at a point where we may not say anything a leftist dislikes. Without firing a shot or passing a single censorship law, WE NOW HAVE CENSORSHIP. The next step, and, believe me, it’s coming sooner than you think: We will be REQUIRED to say things leftists want us to say. Silence will be equated with dissension.

Study the Maoist Cultural Revolution in China. We are going through exactly the same thing here. It’s an Americanized version, but the similarities are astonishing. I suggest you read “Life and Death in Shanghai” by the late Nien Cheng, whom I knew. I always thought Americans were far too rebellious and independent to succumb like the compliant Chinese did. 2020 and the years since proved that this is NOT the America we thought it was. The spirit of 1776 is dead. My proof? That the leftists are still here.
