Nikki Haley, former SC governor, former Trump official, running for President:
“Hey @Disney, my home state will happily accept your 70,000+ jobs if you want to leave Florida,” she wrote in a tweet that included the video clip. “We’ve got great weather, great people, and it’s always a great day in South Carolina! SC’s not woke, but we’re not sanctimonious about it either.”
Here’s her error. You can’t fight woke-ism with any kind of middle ground. It’s a totalitarian and willfully irrational ideology. If Disney came to South Carolina, it would expect preferential treatment, it would support indoctrination and grooming of children, it would pour money into leftist candidates and all the rest. Nobody is more sanctimonious and destructive than a leftist, and you don’t fight sanctimony with nice manners. By inviting insane, authoritarian freaks to her state, moderate Republicans like Nikki Haley create their own destroyers.
