This absentee “Secretary of Transportation” Pete Buttigieg keeps saying that Americans struggling with hyperinflationary gas prices must suck it up and buy impossibly expensive, unworkable electric cars. He mocks and snickers as he does it. It’s the 21st Century equivalent of “Let them eat cake.” My goodness, what a pleasure it will be to watch this submoronic twit encounter his Marie Antoinette moment.
