“Look, our view is that the rise in gas prices over the long term makes an even stronger case for doubling down our investment and our focus on clean energy options so that we are not relying on the fluctuations and OPEC and their willingness to put more supply and meet the demand in the market,” Biden’s spokesperson Psaki responded. “That’s our view.”
She’s essentially saying: “We are going to bankrupt you, freeze you and make you miserable until you join us in pretending that ineffective, unmarketable and unusable sources of energy are the way to go.”
Such a policy isn’t merely stupid, or cynical. It’s undiluted, unblinking evil.
