Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has been officially stripped of her emergency powers by her state’s legislature.
It’s a nice, though belated effort. I can’t imagine it will make any difference. This woman is probably the biggest tyrant in America, and these days that’s really saying something. I stand by my position from last year: Overreaching governors should be arrested, tried and convicted for brazen violations of their state constitutions and the U.S. Constitution’s Bill of Rights. This includes governors of California, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Washington, Oregon and I am sure many others. We should never forget, never forgive and, most of all: Don’t let anyone ever do this to us again.
