Totalitarians in the New York state government think they can dispense with the law so long as they “get Trump.” Treat alleged civil tax violations as criminal felonies — IF you challenge The Party, as President Trump and supporters dare to do. This is so wrong, and so unwise. Because when you get rid of the rule of law only for some people (Republicans, or the non-woke) then you cause millions of people to abandon the law as a legitimate force. This creates civil strife and eventually civil war. It has started, and it’s going to get worse, because the bad guys are NOT going to stop. So what reason do we have to respect or obey any government that has become nothing more than an open bunch of mobsters?
