“Four More Years” … HOW?

“Joe Biden is destroying our nation right before our very own eyes,” Trump told a Wellington, Ohio, campaign rally broadcast on Newsmax, the first of its kind since he left office in January.

“After just five months the Biden administration is already a complete and total catastrophe. I told you. Crime is surging. Murders are soaring. Police departments are being gutted. Illegal aliens are overrunning their borders. Nobody’s ever seen anything like it,” said President Trump.

And they’re just getting started. If they did all this in only 5 months, how about the next 3.5 years?

“We’re going to take back the House,” Trump added. “We’re going to take back the Senate, and we will take back America.”

The crowd stopped his comments about 10 minutes in with a chant, “four more years.”

Yes, but … how? When criminals get away with things, they double and triple down. Will Zuckerberg, Dorsey, Google’s elite, Bill Gates, the DNC, Pelosi, Stacey Abrams and all the others back off in the next two election cycles? Why would they? What they did in 2020 worked so well. Will the state governments of Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona and Georgia suddenly see the light? Will they even acknowledge any recount results? Georgia and parts of Arizona, maybe, but that’s not enough to avoid a repeat of 2020.

Tell me how these obstacles will be overcome. And THEN I am prepared to cheer Trump 2024. Tell me what I am missing. And give me hard facts and reasons, not just faith, belief, or hopeful thinking. Those are not enough. “America is a chosen country” will not fly. Error is error, and catastrophic error — imposed by criminals — will do the same damage in America it did everywhere else, unless utterly and totally reversed.

Evil is weak. Evil is, by definition, irrational. But evil can get away with a lot, when people are sleeping, or afraid. My greatest concern, right now, is that putting all one’s hope into a system that is so obviously rigged and dishonest is another example of being asleep and afraid. “I don’t have to take a stand, myself. The elections will take care of it.”

We will see what happens.
