Unlike most other Governors, Oklahoma’s Governor did not shut down most businesses in the state last weekend. So what happened? Oklahoma is doing no worse than the rest of the country. Despite that fact, mayors in Oklahoma are rushing to issue shelter-in-place orders so they can be among the “cool kids”. More evidence that while coronavirus is an issue, coronavirus panic and the resulting economic depression are much bigger ones.
