The Ugly Spectacle of the Democratic Nomination

So it looks like President Trump will be facing one of these three mental giants in 8 months. Proud to be a Democrat, Democrats?

A reader asks: What about Mike Bloomberg? I don’t think so. At least, not unless he runs as an Independent.

Democrats, at least not the primary voter types who seem to be hardcore socialists, outside of the South, won’t go for Bloomberg. He needs a brokered convention, which could happen, but almost never does. Warren has said she will hang in for the brokered convention, her only hope. Hillary Clinton, however, would overtake them in that scenario. Warren has a chance by default only as the voters react to the twin horrors of having Biden or Sanders represent them. But Pocahontas? That’s horrifying too. They won’t like their choice. They are a badly divided party with horrendously weak candidates, and it’s not going to be pretty.
