An undercover video published by Project Veritas on Tuesday shows a field organizer for Sen. Bernie Sanders’ 2020 campaign saying Soviet gulags were actually a positive phenomenon, suggesting that some similar program could re-educate Trump supporters and billionaires.
The video begins with a Project Veritas journalist asking an individual identified as Sanders organizer Kyle Jurek if “MAGA people” could be re-educated if Sanders wins the White House. “We gotta try,” Jurek replies. “In Nazi Germany, after the fall of the Nazi Party, there was a shit-ton of the populace that was fucking Nazified.”
“Germany had to spend billions of dollars re-educating their fucking people to not be Nazis,” he continues. “We’re probably going to have to do the same fucking thing here.” [Source: Breitbart News]
It fascinates me how socialists detest capitalism, material production and private profit … yet at the very same time adore money. They have unlimited faith in the power of money.
I guess if you’re foolish and ignorant enough to think that stealing and spending other people’s money can build an advanced civilization, you’re stupid enough to think spending other people’s money will make them think the way you want them to think.
This socialist Sanders organizer takes it for granted that Hitler’s ideas and tactics were evil and irrational, which of course they were. Yet in the very same breath he proposes the exact same tactics of coercion and intimidation — only this time under the socialists and Communists, rather than the Nazis.
What difference does it make? Communist totalitarianism or Nazi totalitarianism. It’s ALL socialism, by the way. It’s a choice of death by hanging versus death by lethal injection. In the end, it’s still death.
In another part of the video [the Breitbart story continues], Jurek is seen discussing Soviet Union dictator Joseph Stalin’s use of gulags, where he claims that the CIA was overly critical of them. “People were actually paid a living wage in the gulags. They have conjugal visits in gulags. Gulags were meant for re-education,” he says.
Jurek is then seen suggesting that the most effective way to re-educate the billionaire class is to order them to “break rocks for 12 hours a day.”
Once again: Left-wing socialist gulags are OK. Hitler’s gulags are not.
Millions of young people support Bernie Sanders’ campaign for President. Is this what the Democratic Party now really stands for? If it means defeating Trump … I suppose so.
Shocking — but less and less surprising, all the time.
