As Democrats in Congress seek to impeach President Trump for crimes Hunter and Joe Biden committed, and President Trump did NOT commit, the federal Department of Justice — of the Trump administration — prepares to investigate and (here’s hoping) begin indictments against Democratic officials in the Obama administration who did far worse things during the 2016 election than Donald Trump has been falsely accused of to date.
Rep. John Ratcliffe, R-Texas, said on Sunday that he believes the upcoming Inspector General report on the counterintelligence investigation into Russia and the Trump campaign is going to be damning evidence of wrongdoing by FBI and Justice Department officials and could lead to a full-fledged criminal investigation.
…President Trump — who has the authority to declassify and release as much of the report as he wants — has been hyping its forthcoming release. “The IG report is going to come out soon, and we’ll see what happens,” the president told reporters last week, adding he’s “waiting for the report like everybody else.”
“But I predict you will see things that you don’t even believe, the level of corruption — whether it’s [James] Comey; whether it’s [Peter] Strzok and his lover [Lisa] Page; whether it’s so many other people — [Andrew] McCabe; whether it’s President Obama himself,” Trump charged.
He added: “Let’s see whether or not it’s President Obama. Let’s see whether or not they put that in.” [Fox News]
It’s not just for show. It’s real. Democrats in Congress act as if they have total control over not just the government — but truth itself — as they make a mockery of the impeachment process by making up “facts” as they go along. They feel (it’s all about FEELINGS with leftists) that because they control the House of Representatives — even though they don’t control the White House, the Senate and possibly not the Supreme Court — they are entitled to the benefits of one-party rule. Our Constitutional system — this great system devised by figures who tower over the likes of Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi — begs to differ.
It’s really huge. I’m not aware of anything in American history where there were even allegations this big against a former or sitting President. That includes Richard Nixon. To say nothing of compelling evidence, which we never had that much of with Nixon. Yet Barack Obama sits squarely in the middle of it.
I find it gutsy, honest and incredibly brave and inspiring that the current President of the United States — Donald Trump — comes out with it: Barack Obama himself, the last President of the United States, may have actually violated his presidential oath in the worst way imaginable, and was, in fact, a traitor to our republic.
If rationality and justice prevail — even a little bit — it’s about to get really interesting.
