Most assume that we have two options.
Either be an a**hole, or be kind to everyone.
Why can’t you be kind to those who deserve it, and unkind toward those who don’t? Why can’t you provide measured responses in proportion to the way another treats you?
It’s called justice.
Instead, we’re taught to believe it’s either be a doormat or a predator.
It’s a huge mistake, and the cause of so much personal angst.
