Tiny bits of rationality on the left? Don’t be fooled. And it doesn’t matter. Because in principle, if the government owns 30 or 40 percent of your income (as Bloomberg believes), then you can’t argue against government owning 90 or 100 percent of your income (as Occasional-Cortex believes). The battle is over–UNTIL you argue that IT’S NOT THE GOVERNMENT’S MONEY IN THE FIRST PLACE. Your body, your mind, your bank account (whether it has $1 or a billion dollars)–it all belongs to you, morally. And it should politically.
