Nancy Pelosi is Confident of Victory — Just Like Hillary Clinton Was

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi made yet another bold prediction in the days leading up to the midterm elections—Democrats “will win” the House.

Pelosi, D-Calif., who is hoping to take back the gavel and assume her former position as House speaker, has projected confidence for months about her party’s chances of regaining the majority. But in her latest comments, she predicted victory, with no caveats, while suggesting Democrats could even take the Senate — though recent polling still reflects a GOP advantage in the upper chamber.

“Let me say this. Up until today, I would’ve said, ‘If the election were held today, we would win,’” Pelosi said on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Tuesday. “What now I’m saying is, ‘We will win.’”

This reminds me of the arrogance of Hillary Clinton two years ago when she chose her Cabinet rather than campaign. But if Pelosi does get her wish, she may be shocked at the level and kind of resistance she and her fascist comrades encounter from the millions who despise her. It’s up to YOU, Republicans and Independents, to prevent these moralistic tyrants from crushing the liberty and rights we still enjoy. Vote Republican or pay the price.

Psychological point: Dictators and abusers are deeply insecure. But they project phony confidence and foster an air of certainty and inevitability that they will get their way. This is precisely what Nancy Pelosi and fellow Democrats are doing with regard to the “inevitability” of their takeover in Congress.
