Democratic True Confessions

When Hillary Clinton says its time to be uncivil with opponents, and when Eric Holder says you’ve got to literally “kick” them, then it’s a concession on their part. Their concession is that it’s no longer a battle of ideas; it’s now a battle of brute force.

Of course, this makes sense given what their ideas are. Their ideas do not pertain to liberty, individual rights or freedom from government. Their ideas are not supportive of the Constitution, as a document to set limits on government rather than as a document for government to set constant limits on individuals.

The Democratic Party has always been about brute force. It was kinder and gentler in the eras of Roosevelt and LBJ, perhaps. But force is force. It starts with having no choice about participating in Social Security and Medicare. It progresses to no choice about paying huge corporate and income taxes in proportion to your achievement and success in life. And then to coping with myriad and contradictory regulations and Obamacare. Sooner or later it had to end with, “Do as we say — or we’ll kick you.” Or worse.

It’s important to understand that Clinton’s and Holder’s comments this week are truly confessions. The underlying but inescapable point in their sickening, outrageous comments is: “We know we cannot win by logic, facts and persuasion. We do not care. We are going to literally brutalize you into submission.”

Shockingly, the Republican Party and President Donald Trump are the last firewall left against this kind of mentality. Hillary Clinton and Eric Holder are the mainstream of their party. They have all but explicitly issued a call for violence against anyone who dissents from their views of government and culture.

It’s hard to imagine what a second civil war in the United States would look like. I truly hope it never happens. But it’s increasingly hard to imagine how we can avoid one with prominent members of one of America’s two major parties calling for violence against people who don’t share their views. We cannot go on like this.

How to defeat it? Seeing these leftists as the weaklings that they are. They count on brute force to intimidate you. They’re nothing more than bullies. If they had anything of substance to offer, they’d offer it with confidence and a smile. But they know they have nothing. All they have is fear, pull and terror. In other words: They’ve got nothing.

So treat them like the “nothings” they are.
