The Iran Deal Was SUPPOSED to Be a Horrible Agreement for the U.S.

President Trump called the Iran nuclear deal a “horrible agreement for the United States” in response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bombshell allegations about Tehran’s covert activity – but stopped short of saying whether he’d abandon the deal ahead of a looming deadline.

The president addressed the claims during a Rose Garden press conference Monday afternoon, moments after Netanyahu held a dramatic presentation revealing intelligence he says shows Iran is lying about its nuclear weapons program.

Of course the Iran deal was a horrible agreement for the United States — self-evidently so.

And that’s precisely why it passed. America’s last President was not on the side of the United States. Instead, he sought to bring the United States down a notch, or two or three.

In Obama’s mind, the United States still stands for individualism, private property, capitalism and both economic and personal liberty. He detests these things, which is why he gave countries opposed to these values every opportunity and option he could.

Do you think President Obama, if still in office, would reverse course on his agreement with Iran in light of the evidence about Iran’s covert activity in pursuit of nuclear weapons? Of course not. He’d surge ahead. So would his loony supporters on the America-hating left who now completely control one of America’s two political parties.

Those of us who still love America have to face the difficult truth: America has enemies inside and outside of the country. Perhaps our worst enemies are within — the Obama Democrats who will gladly arm one of the world’s most dangerous dictatorships at the risk of destroying our own country.

All to “bring us down a notch”.

It’s sick, suicidal and President Trump’s administration is the only hope we have of reversing course.
