Gays and lesbians please take note: It’s OK to call a hate crime a hate crime, even when it’s done by a Muslim. It’s still a hate crime no matter who commits it. Take a deep breath and let go of this comfortable but dangerous political correctness we’ve been lulled into accepting. Don’t worry about what anyone thinks of you. Everyone rational is thinking the same thing: Islam is not a religion of peace, and the mythical moderate Muslims will never materialize. It’s OK to accept that. Truth time: The atrocities in Orlando suggest that your very survival depends on accepting that.
Evangelical Christians: As nice as it all sounds, “turn the other cheek” and “love your neighbor as yourself” are not cutting it. The more you practice these ideas, the more the advocates of violent Jihad will go after you. You think love will conquer all, but declarations of love send these people into a rage. They are frightened barbarians with weapons. Islam is an ideology of people who chop off heads, skin people alive, crash airplanes into buildings, throw 15-year-olds off of roofs, and use unimaginably violent weapons on innocent partiers – weapons which they will still easily procure even if Hillary Clinton makes a big noisy deal of outlawing them. Truth time: Terrorists do not go into gun stores and politely buy a weapon and fill out all the forms. They are not nice, they are not benevolent and they will not change. Let go of the mewling George W. Bush, Bible-thumping prattle and start focusing on survival.
Libertarians and Democrats: Peace in our time will not work. It didn’t work when pacifistic, hack politicians of the ’30s (the Obamas of their time) tried to appease and keep Hitler from getting mad, and it won’t work now. While there’s nothing good to say about them, Hitler and the Nazis at least did their deeds through the channels of government. ISIS offers no such pretense. ISIS can only destroy us if we give up on ourselves and our desire to preserve liberty. ISIS is counting on us to turn against each other, to scream that “guns are the problem” or “hatred of minorities is the problem.” Truth time: The only haters are those on the side of Islam, and Islam is the force for evil in today’s world. In the past, it was the Nazis, or the Communists, or the KKK. Today it’s the Muslims. Let’s name that fact and face it; only then will we be able to do whatever it is we have to do. The 50+ partiers in Orlando who were murdered by the very same people many of them probably wanted to welcome into this country would surely agree with this – if only they could.
America has some hard decisions to make. 9/11, Paris, San Bernardino and now Orlando. What makes you think they will stop? Are we prepared to use the full force of our military might – and I mean everything on the table — to scare the Allah out of Islam, so America can return to a place where people can go to nightclubs in peace and fly in airplanes without fear?
Time is running out, America. Obama intones that it’s time to have a “national conversation.” Yes, but certainly not the one he has crafted to distract us from the truth. Can we please finally abandon this veil of political correctness behind which our murderers hide, or should we just let them kill us all?
