Not really.
But I still prefer this situation to the alternative which (on our present course) will be the case in 3-5 years:
“President AOC did it. She nationalized private industry. Everything is now run and owned by the federal government. She confiscated guns. She shut down all government-deemed hate speech. She replaced all state and local police with social workers. Unless it’s criticism of the government–we will immediately imprison or execute for that. She outlawed fossil fuels for everyone except the politically connected. She rations health care and, when needed, food. The grocery stores are now all government-run. Do you feel better now? Do you feel like your life is improved in any significant way?”
Yes, indeed. Donald Trump sure beats the alternative.
