Communist states will need to build walls to keep people in. Sadly, two of the winning states (North Carolina and Arizona) are pretty purple. And a massive amount of Hollywood and Soros money is pouring into Texas, Tennessee and South Carolina to turn them purple. People running to these states flee socialism, and cry for more socialism after they move. Madness.
An individual who loathes himself will not act in his self-interest. He might not commit suicide. But he will neglect his health, his mind and act with indifference (at best) to his own well-being. Alcoholism, drug abuse, and a resulting emotional malaise are typically the end results of years of self-loathing.
As with an individual, so with a society. Not all Americans loathe their country and what it stands for. But a shocking number do. The Democratic Party, like it or not, is still a vibrant party embraced by millions of Americans. For that Party to so brazenly embrace the destruction of our country, and for that Party to still stand ANY chance of winning in upcoming elections, illustrates just how far gone our society is. Instead of debating how quickly and competently to restore freedom, we’re forced to explain why Communism isn’t a good idea, why there are only two genders, and why the world’s most toxic religious cult armed with nukes is no friend of ours.
An individual cannot sustain this level of self-loathing. Neither can a country. It’s worth fighting to sustain America and what it once more forcefully represented. Yet you have to wonder: How much more stupidity, irrationality and willful self-destruction can we take?
