“Socialism starts with envy, continues with violence, and ends with hunger.”
— Alice Smith
Absolutely correct.
When you assault the means of production, you assault the human mind. You obliterate human potential, human dignity, individual rights, private property, pride, self-esteem and personal accountability.
With one set of socialist measures gets enacted, all of these are wiped away in one fell swoop. Forever. Once you lose them, you don’t get them back. Not without a lot of pain, suffering and violence. And maybe not even then, based on world history to date.
America had so much to lose. America still has so much to lose. The central key to our greatness was our individual rights. Put another way, the central key to our greatness was the absence of socialism. The absence of socialism enables the human virtues we all need — personally and socially — in order to thrive, cope and survive.
Those are disappearing right before our eyes. It seems that half of us do not care to understand; and the other half blame the wrong sources.
I don’t see this ending well, at least not on our present course.
Some (on the fringe) are suggesting that women be denied the right to vote because women (as a group, more than men) tend to vote for leftist, socialist, pro-Islamic policies and favor court decisions such as excusing mothers for murdering their three children because of depression.
Repeal the right for women to vote? Absurd. Just repeal the right to vote for socialism. Theft, looting & murder are illegal.
When a government becomes illegitimate enough, at some point you have to confront the reality of treating that government as illegitimate. If Republicans lose this fall and in two years, that will be exactly what we’re facing. Even if Republicans win, it won’t be pretty post-Trump. Evil is on the rise like never before in American history. Just imagine how it will be without Trump’s daily pushback.
