Here’s what “democratic socialism” for America means, in practice.
“We get a majority to vote for ending the presidency, ending the courts, ending the U.S. Senate. Everything will be voted on in Congress by a House of Representatives. Of course, the vast majority of the representatives will be socialist. They will always vote, in a majority, for things like 90 percent tax rates, unlimited social programs (first priority: non-American citizens; second priority: anyone unwilling to work), gun bans, required censorship (to avoid undue criticism of The Party), and all the rest.
If for some reason, in a given election, the majority ends up being non-socialist, then of course that majority will need to be invalidated. How can you be a socialist democracy if the majority of your leaders are not socialists? It’s absurd. We will rig or falsify the elections, if feasible; we’ll intimidate opposition out of existence, whether with financial threats or any other means. It’s all for the sake of socialism, after all — what can be wrong with that?”
This is how it works. They’ll show you charts defining the difference between “true democratic socialism” and actual Communism as practiced by Stalin, Mao — well, essentially every dictator and tyrant (labeled socialist or not) in human history.
It doesn’t matter that they claim to be something new and different. IT’S ALL THE SAME. It always has been; and always will be.
Smugness and ignorance are leading us toward the slaughter. But rest assured: the end result of that slaughter will be nothing new. The impact will be harder than anything ever seen, because in America, there was so much to lose.
