True. And much worse: Red flag laws will be used as an excuse to oppress anyone who disagrees with the ruling regime, not just by confiscating their guns but by taking away all their freedom. The basis for doing so will be “mental illness” as defined subjectively by the government–signed off on by mental health professionals with allegiance to the government. The next time we have a leftist Democrat regime, you will see these policies start to materialize. The rising tide of totalitarianism is just getting started. Leftists don’t care (so long as THEY are the totalitarians) and frankly most Republicans are still too complacent to think it can ever happen in America. I beg to differ. Get to know your leftist neighbors and family members. Many seethe with hatred and are more than ready to make Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia look like a day at the beach by the time they are through.
