If I read it accurately, every single candidate endorsed by Trump has won against a RINO opponent. In a way, this is bigger news than Republicans beating Democrats. Why? Because a big part of the reason Republicans lose so much is that Republican voters are usually disillusioned by their Party’s candidates, and don’t show up to vote like Democrats. It’s hard for Republicans to vote for candidates who talk like Republicans, but think and eventually vote like Democrats. The defeated piece of wood Mitch McConnell is the most glaring example. P.S. Why is that walking skeleton still alive, and why was he on the ballot?
Democrats face no such problem. Their candidates (all of them, whether Biden or AOC) articulate the undiluted psychotic totalitarianism that Democratic voters seem to want; and once their candidates win, it’s exactly what they get. Yes, the socialism and sociopathy lead to destruction for everyone, including the Democrats who vote for it, but you cannot reason with people committed to irrationality.
Now, finally, Republicans can feel as if they have a choice. Thanks to President Trump’s now nearly mythological initiative and superhuman energy, the Republican Party is actually turning into a second party, instead of a mere echo of their socialist-fascist brethren.
I don’t know if it’s too late for America because Democratic idiocy and the philosophical insanity underlying it all now permeate every branch of government, education, media and culture. Half (or maybe a third) have bought into the insanity, or at least wish to pretend they have done so for the sake of appearance. Imagine the kind of culture where it’s cool or acceptable to be seen as advocating depraved policies ruthlessly at war with objective reality. And Democrats have pretty much acknowledged that even if they go down, they are taking us all with them, and 100 percent of their actions since Trump rode down the fabled escalator prove it. But even if it’s too late for America (and I haven’t concluded it is), it’s far more honorable to go down fighting than to go down defeated by the likes of Joy Behar, Pete Buttigieg, intellectually impoverished AOC and Bruce Springsteen.
And there can be no doubt about one thing: Reason, truth and liberty will prevail in the end. They always will, in the end. Have no doubt. The best within us is more powerful than anything the left appeals to in corrupt, ignorant supporters. The good will win. It’s only a question of when–not if. In the meantime, eternal gratitude to President Trump for being the lone figure in our times to inspire us all to stand against the mob.
