Yes, the Iran “deal” is a letdown. But America has much bigger problems.
The Trump-Iran deal is frankly meaningless. Our word means something; their word means less than nothing. The fact remains that we pulverized their terrorist regime and hopefully this has set them back a bit. That’s more than we would have seen in a Kamala Harris regime, who would undoubtedly have given Iran even more money and would never have laid a hand on them militarily. However, it’s obvious: The Trump deal will fail, not so much because it’s a bad deal but because: THERE ARE NO DEALS TO BE MADE WITH IRRATIONAL CULTISTS WHO WANT TO DESTROY THE WORLD.
I am confident Trump, while still in office, will pulverize Iran some more when–not if–Iran breaks the one-sided agreement. But once Trump is out of office, we will be back where we started. Iran will not likely respect any successor to Trump, because Trump is unique and I doubt any conventional Republicans (including J.D. Vance or Marco Rubio) would risk the ire of Harvard and The New York Times by finishing off Iran for good. If Trump’s successor is someone like AOC or Pete Buttigieg or Gavin Newsom (quite plausible given election fraud and widespread stupidity), America, as a constitutional republic, will be finished anyway.
So in a lot of ways, this might not end up mattering. As threatening and potentially deadly as the mullahs and Ayatollahs are, America’s Democrats and RINOs are on a course to annihilate us from within. And not one high-profile, self-evidently guilty traitor or felon from The Uniparty has yet been convicted.
