Leftism is about control.
Leftism requires obedience, conformity and adherence to leftist edicts, i.e., force and coercion, as it redistributes wealth, imposes mask and vaxx mandates, restricts use of fossil fuels, restricts social media speech, imposes Diversity, Equity, and Incluson (DEI) and reverence for Islam, and restricts gun ownership . . . just to name a few.
Genuine liberty does nothing like any of these atrocities; in fact, genuine liberty attempts to reverse these controls.
Locking people up and restraining them from exercising their individual liberties creates a breeding ground for resentment and ultimately violence.
Force and reason are opposites. Notice that leftist Democrats no longer try to persuade.
They simply declare, “Either you’re with Trump, or you’re with us. If you’re with Trump, and we’re in power, then you’re out of luck.”
It’s their way or the highway – or to indoctrination.
