I read last night that the Virginia referendum to redistrict the state into solid Democratic was losing rather decisively as recently as an hour prior to the referendum passing, but then suddenly tens of thousands of votes in Northern Virginia turned the tide and it’s now over.
Sound familiar?
Not only does this mean Virginia will never again be a red or purple state; it also means the Democrats now have a clear advantage in retaking the U.S. House in November.
The broader destruction here is psychological: Once again, leaving 2024 aside, the message is clear: Fraud works. Manipulation and deception work. No, they don’t really. But they do seem to work when the good guys let down their guard.
Democrats are citing this oddly unexplained victory as proof that Trump is failing and that Communist and fascist totalitarians–which is exactly what Democrats are, now more than ever–will be destroying our freedom and civilization.
And if I am wrong about fraud, the truth is even worse: That increasing numbers of Americans are too ignorant, too stupid or maybe just too rotten to make the obviously right choice as they might have done in Virginia.
Virginia and its totalitarian governor, along with the national Democratic Party, want to showcase this referendum as a model for what they plan to do to America after the elections of 2026 and 2028. This war is not over; not even close.
