The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is launching a probe into ABC’s long-running daytime talk show, “The View,” over “equal time” rules for political candidates after an interview with Texas Democrat James Talarico, a source told Reuters on Saturday.
Talarico appeared on the show Monday.
The FCC’s equal time rule requires broadcast television and radio stations to provide legally qualified political candidates equal opportunities to use the airwaves if one candidate is given airtime, a policy designed to prevent broadcasters from favoring one contender over another.
The FCC should not be regulating political speech, not in a First Amendment country. The government does not own the airwaves and has zero right to police content. However, the Democrats have done this for years against Republicans. Now that Republicans are doing it to them, there’s outrage. Democrats are entitled, ruthless totalitarians hellbent on doing everything to wreck America, and I consider us in a state of war. However, if Democrats get power back, the FCC will be unleashed as never before.

I don’t agree with people who say the Democratic Party is collapsing. Morally and intellectually, it collapsed decades ago. But it’s still around. Why? Because the Democratic Party serves a purpose. Millions of Americans loathe themselves and their country. The elites and criminals who have stolen millions hate freedom and bite the hand that feeds them, because without economic liberty and capitalism there will be no wealth to steal.
The Democratic Party exists and thrives as a parasite that depends on the host it’s devouring. The solution to the whole mess can be found in Ayn Rand’s novel “Atlas Shrugged.” In essence, the solution will be to stop letting the parasite devour us. Just stop letting it. Stand still, shrug, call them what they are. Stop giving them your moral sanction. They cannot last five minutes without the productive, the self-responsible, the liberty-loving and the decent, rational among us. Defund the leftists, fiscally, psychologically and morally–and the fight is over. We win.
