Can Trump Be President Forever?

Trump’s amazingly decisive call to invade Venezuela and capture Maduro will solidify himself and his MAGA movement as the only pro-American, pro-liberty and pro-Constitutional force in the world today. It will alienate Democrats and leftists even more–not because they hate Trump, but because they really favor the totalitarianism of Communism. The people applauding Mamdani, who’s about to turn New York City into Venezuela, don’t think you should attack or end Communism in Venezuela. They are on the other side. The difference between Trump’s movement and leftism isn’t merely partisan or political. It’s as ideological as you get. Granted, most leftists are ignorant and fed a steady diet of propaganda by their schools, celebrities and media. But make no mistake: Democrats are on the other side. They want America defeated, and they want people like Maduro to prevail.

It’s past time to do to America’s Democratic Party what just happened to Venezuela’s Communist regime.

Maduro is reportedly in custody to face a trial. How do you try and convict Maduro in a “justice” system dominated by Biden/Obama judges? The military should have killed him.

Green and purple haired wokesters shriek that President Trump “violated Constitutional principles” by seizing the Venezuelan dictator. Which principles, Democrats? Maduro was a totalitarian dictator. He starved his people, refused to let them trade or own private property, denied them the right to bear arms, to speak freely, to make their own medical decisions or to criticize the government. He openly rigged elections and threw his opponents in jail, or murdered them. Actually, Maduro behaved a lot like the Clintons, Obamas, Pelosis, Newsoms and Bidens. Are THESE the principles you’re defending, dear leftists?

“No Kings,” they say. But totalitarian, murdering, censoring, impoverishing dictators…are just splendid.

A friend asked me how to respond to a cousin who calls Trump a criminal for invading Venezuela and arresting Maduro. I wrote:

Your cousin’s premise is faulty. His assumption is that Communism is acceptable. Anyone who relies on such an assumption (even subconsciously) has no business calling Trump a dictator. It’s like saying, “Trump is a dictator for taking out a dictator.” Absurd! Actually, Trump upholds the rights to free speech, private property, free enterprise, honest elections and the right to bear arms. Maduro violates all of them. Maduro has no rights, and he deserves much worse than going to court to probably be let off by Obama-Biden judges. The military should have killed him, or at least sent him to a military tribunal.

None of this will sway your cousin because leftists today are actually Communists, and they are sympathetic to Maduro, just as they love Mamdani. People like him are not thinking in principles. They believe they are principled, but hating Trump’s style or manner is not a principle. In practice, Trump upholds individual freedom like no dictator ever would. I can’t talk to most leftists about politics because they won’t let this logic in. They just call names and their minds are shut for good.

Suddenly the Democrats care about the President using too much power. Good grief! What about when the (puppet) President ordered Facebook to take down posts? Or when grandmothers at the U.S. Capitol were imprisoned for years without due process? Or children being given gender transformation hormones without parental consent? Or “take the jab or lose your job”? Is it too much power leftists object to? Or do they just want unlimited power exclusively for themselves?

The unhinged leftist reaction to the overthrow of a Communist really drives home just how much these people LOATHE all the best things. They so hate America, its freedoms, its economic strength and its military strength. They applaud our enemies and those who seek to destroy us. It must be hard to be a leftist. I sometimes feel sorry for them. Carrying around all that hatred is part of it. But living in a society that counts on and represents all the things you hate? It must generate a ton of inner conflict, of cognitive and emotional dissonance. Maybe Trump Derangement Syndrome is really just a symptom. Maybe the deeper issue is: “I live in the greatest civilization in all of human history. I benefit from it, and I hate myself for living in it.” Very sad. Not just for them, but for those of us who are happy, and who must put up with the consequences of their desire to wreck and destroy everything worthwhile. Today was a great day for America, but a terrible day for leftists.
