A Delaware State Trooper was shot and killed while pushing another person to safety when shots rang out inside a DMV office mid-afternoon Tuesday.
Delaware Online noted the incident occurred at the “Wilmington Division of Motor Vehicles near New Castle.”
NBC New York reported that the Trooper, unidentified as of yet, “was working an overtime assignment at the reception desk” when the attacker walked in, pulled a gun and shot him.
The injured Trooper “pushed a nearby employee to safety before the gunman shot him again, killing him.” [Breitbart 12-24-25]
Delaware is a perpetually and likely permanently one-party blue state whose government is operated by radical leftists committed to things like defund the police, releasing violent criminals to foster racial equity, open borders, and all the rest. I wonder if the perpetually irate fools who keep voting for this insanity will stop and take a minute to consider that ideas — even unhinged ideas, such as their own — have consequences, especially when you keep voting for these unhinged ideas over and over again, always anticipating different results.

National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard issued a firm warning about ‘Islamist ideology’ posing a massive threat to US security. Her controversial speech gained support from fellow MAGA supporters.
Members of the ‘Make America Great Again’ (MAGA) camp has spoken out in massive support of US Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, after videos of her address at the Turning Point USA conference in Phoenix, Arizona, did rounds on the Internet.
On Saturday (US time), Gabbard took the stage at what was the first annual AmericaFest after Turning Point founder Charlie Kirke‘s death. While she had the floor, she came down hard on what she defined as the “Islamist ideology,” and how it posed a big threat to Western freedom.
… Gabbard, who oversees 18 intelligence agencies in the US, sounded off the alarm on what she called a “threat to our freedom,” but is “not often talked about enough.” While at the Phoenix event, she branded ‘Islamist ideology,’ as the “the greatest near and long-term threat to both our freedom and our security.”
Further suggesting that it was propagated by people whose fundamental ideology was “antithetical to the foundation” of the US Constitution and Bill of Rights, she turned back to the harrowing memories of the 9-11 attack.
“It changed so many of our lives where thousands of Americans were killed by Islamist jihadis who attacked us on that day,” she said at AmFest. “We were confronted with the reality of the length that they will go to try to attack the foundations of who we are as a country.”
Gabbard, the Hinduism-practicing National Intelligence Director, further attributed her enlistment in the Hawaii Army National Guard at the age of 21 in 2003 to the September 11 terrorist attacks against the US in 2001. Claiming that ‘Islamist ideology’ is what fuels terror outfits like Al-Qaeda and ISIS, she emphasised on the need to defeating them “militarily.”
While noting that such terror groups posed a threat to the country’s security and safety, she asserted that ‘Islamist ideology,’ on the other hand, was a “direct threat to our freedom.”

To me, she’s stating the obvious. I mean that as no insult to this brave woman but many people are asleep. Many are not asleep and, to be fair, there is so much to focus on.
I would not use the term “Islamist.” She’s talking about Islam. The words and actions of their texts, as well as the actions of all of their leaders and their most consistent followers, call for the subjugation and literal annihilation of any dissenters. They are openly at war with the West, especially America, since at least 1979 and in many respects longer.
Our government is supposed to protect us from violent foreign invasions, and Islam is the biggest and most consistent threat out there (aside from the Democratic Party). As JD Vance warned in a recent speech, Islam is gaining ground every day throughout Europe, and they will get their hands on nuclear weapons at a certain point. Why are more of us not concerned with this clear, obvious and present danger?
