If we are to be disarmed, shouldn’t the elites in power be disarmed too?
If young Reiner had killed his parents with a gun, then guns would get the blame. And immediate gun confiscation would be demanded, as it always is after any high profile gun murders. Yet he killed his parents with a knife. Are knives to blame? Will knife control or knife confiscation be threatened?Clearly not. This inconsistency suggests only one possibility: The powers-that-be are afraid of an armed population. Crime does not concern them. Threats to their power are what concern them.

Trump is holding the Venezuelan Communist government accountable for its years-long theft of American assets by blockading their country. Bravo. All Communism is theft. All socialism is theft. Even anti-Communist President Ronald Reagan did not go so far as to use force to get the plunder stolen by totalitarians back. Donald Trump is the greatest anti-Communist in history. The fools who call his actions lawless and dictatorial betray either their ignorance of what Communism and socialism really are; or their actual sympathy with the dishonesty and brutality of those systems.
