“A group of former FBI, intelligence, diplomatic and national security officials released a letter blasting FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino for firing several bureau agents, saying they were targeted for not being loyal to President Trump.” [Fox News]
Give me a break! Are these same former officials outraged over the use of the FBI to harass political dissenters? The Obama and Biden regimes openly weaponized the FBI to eradicate any and all political opposition. Recall the raid on President Trump’s house, arrests of peaceful abortion protesters, arrests of grandmothers attending January 6 protests, denial of due process, etc. Where’s the outrage over the unconstitutional behavior that gave rise to the present crisis?
The FBI should be disbanded and defunded. That agency has done far more harm than good (think of all the things we DON’T know about) and we are better off without it. But if the country isn’t ready to dismantle the FBI, I am just fine with firing officials who were loyal to the totalitarian policies of Biden and Obama. My only question is why we’re not arresting them.
