That’s because intellectuals are mostly taught to evade reality and evading reality makes you an idiot. If universities and intellectuals still engaged in the search for objective truth rather than more political dollars, or the praise of fellow sycophants in the Imperial City or on MSNBC, our culture would look very, very different from how it does now.
