The post office enjoys ZERO accountability.
It answers to NO market forces and is more insulated than ANYTHING in or outside of government.
Given that most communication is now electronic, and that market-based companies like UPS handle the rest FAR better than the wretched post office on its best day, doesn’t stop the cost of the postal “service” from going up, up, up.
