The takeaway from the embattled Big Beautiful Bill? That there’s little difference between the two parties in the U.S. Senate. And there’s only a small minority of Republican spending hawks in the House. President Trump would be happy to offer more spending cuts than this bill offers. But because of Republicans in the Senate, the bill had to be watered down with more spending. President Trump is great, but the mainstream of the Republican Party consists of liars and grifters. But we already knew that.

Thomas Sowell nails it, as usual. Socialists and social “justice” warriors are absolutely worthless. They contribute nothing. It’s the competent, the capable, the hard-working and the innovative, risk-taking thinkers we should be thanking.
