Leftists/Democrats clearly do not care about the country. If they did, they would be at least a little bit concerned about the precedent of a demented commander-in-chief, not to mention autopens signing into law whatever some secret oligarchy wants to see imposed.
Leftists just want whatever works — to get what they want. What do they want? Redistribution of wealth, with exceptions for connected cronies who support The Party … Socialized everything — with private pay for cronies and others who are special because they’re woke and support the Party … Open borders … Elections that are rigged when they need to be, so long as leftists win … Freedom of speech — for everyone, except those who challenge any tenet of Leftism … Guns for the connected (like Rosie O’Donnell) and for the police — provided those police answer only to Progressive police chiefs and commanders.
The sad contradiction of leftists? In the end, they cannot have everything they want. In the end, they will lose it all. Granted, they have obtained most of it to date, despite Trump, and even if they lose everything under Trump’s second term, they’re confident they’ll get it all back in 2 or 4 years. But they still can’t have what they want, in the end. Why not? Because when you destroy a civilization, when you open up the borders to anyone and everyone, when you alienate and treat as criminals potentially half (or more) of the population who disagrees with you, when you turn a country based on individual rights into a totalitarian state run by psychopaths and sociopaths, and when you destroy all social bonds (marriage, family, parents) that people need to rely on in order to survive … you end up with NOTHING.
In a nutshell: If leftists succeed at destroying everything, they will destroy themselves, too. That’s why I call their ongoing, relentless war against reason and freedom the most consequential suicide-homicide in all of human history.
