The left-wing UK Labour government is comprised of “absolute losers” according to Sir Elton John, with the rock legend revealing Sunday he feels “incredibly betrayed” over plans to exempt technology firms from copyright laws.
Sir Elton made public his despair in an interview on the BBC. He said if ministers go ahead as planned to allow artificial intelligence (AI) firms to scrape artists’ content without paying, they would be “committing theft, thievery on a high scale.”
Elton John is justifiably concerned with his intellectual property rights, as the socialist Labour government in the U.K. looks to nationalize ownership of musical content using A.I. as an excuse. But as a leftist, is Elton John equally concerned about the socialization of everything else? Will we now hear him come out in favor of capitalism and private property rights for everyone?

Speak (and think) with clarity. Don’t shy away from decisive speech. When you hesitate, you give aid and comfort to those who seek to manipulate or destroy. If you aren’t sure of what you’re thinking, don’t speak. But if you are, just say or write it, without blinking. This is the meaning of self-confidence.
