Fox News reports on 3/13/25 that passengers were forced to evacuate an American Airlines plane after the plane erupted in flames in an airport. It’s the latest in a recent string of airline crashes and accidents which defy easy explanation (e.g., the weather) or precedent.
We have political problems, but there are deeper problems that politics can’t fix. Lack of confidence, a decline in responsibility, too little individual initiative in business, a denigration of masculinity and rationality, a sense of entitlement that success should be automatic … Generations of bad, stupid attitudes and ideas are taking their toll. As a result, the planes can’t fly. And much more to come. Trump will get the blame, but it’s too little of Trump-like qualities bringing us down. I wrote about this in my book “Grow Up America!” back in 2000, but it’s much worse now. When people stop thinking and (worse still) when people stop valuing thinking, ineptitude spreads. Read “Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand. That’s what her famous novel was all about.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy on Thursday announced he would launch a full investigation into allegations that a DEI activist offered air traffic candidates the chance to cheat on an entry exam at the FAA.
“I am launching a full investigation into the DEI hiring allegations at the FAA immediately. If true, swift accountability will come for those responsible. We need the best and brightest, not buzzword, DEI hires,” Duffy wrote. [Breitbart 3/13/25]
DEI (the modern term for affirmative action, or racial/gender quotas) is part of our own Atlas Shrugged scenario. DEI kills. It’s a toxic, deliberately destructive, willfully executed ideology adapted and applauded by naive fools like Democrats, the mentally ill and others. DEI relies upon the same faulty premises as the toxic stupidity we have seen throughout history in contexts like Nazi Germany, Maoist China, Stalinist Russia, and Castro’s Cuba. The Biden regime operated exactly like a movement with the explicit purpose of destroying America. It nearly succeeded.
