My psychological take on leftism: Leftists hate America. It’s not a patriotism thing. It’s deeper. They know America is the greatest thing to ever happen to mankind, and they were born into it. They feel guilty. They hate themselves, for being lucky. It makes them feel moral to loathe the thing that makes them feel guilty. Their public school and college professors reinforce it. Instead of acknowledging and naming the guilt, which would pave the way for questioning it, they react. And react, and react, and react. They react against anything they associate with America, and anyone who defends it. Trump, who defends America like a pit bull, arouses their anger. It sends their panic and anxiety through the roof. Panic and anxiety are at the root of most hatred, most anger, and most guilt. At some point, the resulting irrationality leads them to logically untenable and grotesque positions. Hatred becomes their only fuel.

Trump just called out and decimated the Democratic governor of Maine directly to her face for refusing to comply with his ban on men in women’s sports.
Oh my lord, he buried her.
TRUMP: Are you not gonna comply?
JANET MILLS: I’m complying with state and federal laws.
TRUMP: WE are the federal law. You better do it, because you’re not gonna get any federal funding if you don’t… your population also doesn’t want men in women’s sports. You better comply, or you’re not getting any federal funding.
MILLS: See you in court.
TRUMP: Good. See you in court, that should be a real easy one. Enjoy your life after, governor, I don’t think you’ll be in elected office.

Interesting that the only people claiming the DOGE cuts will hurt America are government employees, or politicians (same thing). The rest of America either disagrees, or hardly notices.
Interesting that they even care about hurting America. They only feel that cutting federal spending hurts America. They have no problem with terrorist victories, a weak and demoralized military, hyperinflation, massive taxation, censorship, open borders, men in women’s bathrooms and on women’s sports teams, arrests for political dissension, gun confiscation, medical fascism, ballot fraud and all the other things their Party did or attempted.
The only thing they worry about is cutting federal spending. It’s really revealing.
