Odd That We’re Permitted to Mourn Kirstie Alley

I genuinely enjoyed Kirstie Alley’s talents (I have rarely laughed as hard as I did at her performance in “Fat Actress”), and would have enjoyed her regardless of her political views, or without ever knowing her political views. But since she happened to be somewhat of a Republican or libertarian (in other words, not a leftist), I find it ironic and amusing that the moronic, philosophically illiterate people who run our culture have granted us dispensation to coo and swoon over this talented woman’s sad passing.

I have to wonder what their warped, hypocritical and upside-down illogical standards are until I stop myself, and remind myself of what I have said to people for decades when trying to make sense of depravity or irrationality: Just forget about it.
